Farmington was approached by a private client based in Bude, Cornwall looking to construct a traditional and spacious family home using Cotswold stone.

The client was not just looking for a supplier or installer, but a true partner who they and their architect could work closely with throughout the project. From conception and planning to design and installation. They were also particularly keen to seek our guidance and advice on the use of Cotswold stone for such a large-scale construction.

Farmington Oolitic limestone was chosen to lend the residence a classic and traditional look that would seamlessly blend with the charm of the Cornwall coastline. The rustic chopped building stone was used alongside a range of architectural masonry elements including windows, door surrounds, plinths, and more, to elevate the overall aesthetic.
